Transforming Dementia Care: IMPACT Collaboratory Funding Opportunities

The IMPACT Collaboratory launched an updated website detailing the training and grant funding opportunities available to investigators seeking to gain skills in pragmatic research and to conduct non-drug dementia studies. The Collaboratory provides the resources necessary to accelerate the pace of embedded pragmatic clinical trials to improve care for persons living with dementia and their families.

Currently, the Collaboratory has two funding opportunities open for applications:

Pilot Grants: One-year awards for pilot pragmatic clinical trials that generate the preliminary data necessary to design and conduct a future full-scale Stage IV effectiveness trial of non-phramacological approaches to improving care for people living with dementia and their care partners. Letters of intent are due on March 4, 2022.

Career Development Awards: Two-year awards that provide mentored training grant funding for early-stage investigators to gain skills needed to conduct embedded pragmatic trials for dementia care. Applications are due on March 18, 2022.

Visit the IMPACT Collaboratory’s website for more details on these funding opportunities.

We engage partners to conduct and fund studies that establish the evidence for interventions by propelling them along the research continuum, from pilot studies to effectiveness and dissemination trials.
