Transforming Dementia Care: IMPACT Collaboratory Funding Opportunities

The IMPACT Collaboratory will be sharing two new grant funding opportunities available to investigators seeking to conduct non-drug dementia studies. The Collaboratory provides funding and support to accelerate the conduct of embedded pragmatic clinical trials to improve care for persons living with dementia and their care partners.

On August 15th, the Collaboratory will open two calls for applications:

Pilot Grants: One-year awards for pilot pragmatic clinical trials that generate the preliminary data necessary to design and conduct a future full-scale Stage IV effectiveness trial of non-pharmacological approaches to improving care for people living with dementia and their care partners. Letters of intent are due on September 15, 2022.

Demonstration Projects: Two-year awards for full-scale, Stage IV effectiveness trials that test, measure, and evaluate the effect of a care delivery intervention program for persons living with dementia and their care partners in a health system. The goal is to generate evidence on care delivery practices that can be expanded and/or implemented in other health systems. Letters of intent are due on September 16, 2022.

Learn more about these funding opportunities and other efforts in Q&I’s diverse portfolio.
